Connie is a bright and spirited young girl who works at the Charming Clam Inn in exchange for free lodging. She goes to school with Shelldon and Herman and does well in school. Beneath the veneer of spunk and confidence lies Connie's insecurities and vulnerabilities. She can be guarded and self-conscious, especially about her own background. No one else knows that Connie is actually an uptown girl who is daughter to multi-millionaire parents. Having grown up in a lap of luxury, Connie yearns for genuine friendships. Now that she has started school in Shell Land, she tries to shed her "Princess" image and to fit into Shell Land as best as she can. She wants to strike out on her own by working part-time at the Charming Clam Inn. Connie is the thinking force and the lone voice of reason among the trio of friends. Resolute and worldly wise, Connie could have saved Shelldon and Herman a lot of pain and trouble if they would only listened to her.
